Amy Newman is a senior lecturer in management communication at the Cornell SC Johnson College of Business. She serves as the faculty director of Grand Challenges @Dyson and has taught courses in persuasive communication, business writing, corporate communication, and management communication. Newman is author of Business Communication: In Person, In Print, Online (Cengage, 10e, 2017) and Building Leadership Character (Sage, 2018). She developed eCornell courses as part of the Servant Leadership and Corporate Communication certificates. Newman spent much of her career in corporate and consulting learning and development roles at Canon, Reuters, The New York Times, and Scholastic.
